Sadili Oval Sports Academy hosted the Girl Power Basketball Challenge on the Saturday 23 October 2010. The teams that participated for the tournament were Loreto Convent Msongari, Ngara Girl’s High School, Safe Spaces, Malezi High school. Each school had 2 teams, system played was a round robin of 4 games where we had two pools. Malezi High School displayed one of the most exiting matches that left the cheering squad wanting more, they played against safe spaces but they lost to settle for second position .Ngara team were third position then Safe Spaces “B” while Loreto Msongari were the fourth. The action filled event ended at 4 with all respective teams getting their prizes.

The event aims not only improving sports standards within the players but creating awareness to life skills. Among the issues taught by professionals were time management, discipline, proper dress code for sports, personal hygiene, and teamwork.
